What is a draft/unpaid booking?

You may occasionally be notified that a couple has created a draft booking on one of your listings.

A draft booking means the couple started the checkout process but did not complete payment.

Here’s what that means in practice:

❌ The booking is not confirmed
❌ The date is not held or blocked
✅ Your calendar remains fully bookable for that date

Draft bookings are simply an indication of high intent. The couple has shown strong interest in your listing but may have paused due to a question, a technical issue, or needing a bit more time to decide.

We notify you about draft bookings as an opportunity to follow up. Reaching out to the couple via the message thread or by clicking into the draft booking to ask if they need help or have any questions can often convert a draft booking into a confirmed one.
