How does VAT work on wedissimo’s commission?

All suppliers on wedissimo are charged the same commission rate, regardless of whether or not they are VAT-registered. VAT is then added only to the commission amount, not the full package price.

Here's an example based on a £1,200 package:

Commission (18.75%) = £225
VAT (20% of £225) = £45
Total deduction = £270
Your take-home = £930

If you are VAT-registered, you can reclaim the VAT (so £45 in this example) through your normal VAT return with HMRC.
